Badan Regulasi Telekomunikasi Indonesia  (BRTI) appealed to the Research in Motion (RIM) as the manufacturer of BlackBerry in order to build a local server in Indonesia. If it does not comply, will discontinue service BRTI BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS).

BRTI member Heru Sutadi explained that they had asked RIM to build a server in Indonesia since 2009. But until now, RIM does not execute the request.
